The pitch

Vincent Fournier and Philipp Baben Der Erde filmed the lives of four Ladyboys in Thailand. In a great and beautiful simplicity, they are told and expose a shattering reality, that of a particular caste in the Thai society. In a simple and touching narrative, the directors manage to draw a fair and nuanced picture of the life of the Ladyboys, the reality behind the glitter, their dreams and their anxieties.
